It is never too late to find what you love. I grew up on Long Island, NY and currently resides in Orange County, NY with my husband and our two daughters. I am a Pravana Artistic Educator and Pravana Brand Specialist. I attended BOCES in High School, though I didn’t take my State Boards until much later on. Always believing that everything in life happens when it is supposed to. I had the pleasure of working with a wonderful colleague who taught me the ins and outs of color theory. This laid the foundation for my deep love with color and the science behind it. I currently work independently and found the one thing that is missing when you go out on your own is the “conversation of hair”. My greatest passion besides actually doing hair has to be talking hair and figuring out the “why’s” and “how’s?”. That is what led me to pursue Education. It provides the opportunity to step out, to interact with other stylists, and to pass on the knowledge from my predecessors.
Color is a work of art; It takes time, patience and know-how. Color is a challenge – it’s a very intricate equation of levels and tones combined together to achieve greatness. When you find what you love, run with it, that’s what I did when I began my career and that’s what I do every day going forward.
